Colombian Coffee School has as goal and porpuse to educate the businessmen, as well as the staff of the high quality coffee shops, seacking to change the culture of preparing and serving in this stablishments, contributing in increasing the consumption of coffee in an intern level, and looking to provide in a world level not only colombian coffee but the product as a whole.
Our courses, seminairs and workshops are designed to transform graduates in coffee professionals.
A team of professionals with a long history in coffee making, sensibilized in all the different kinds of coffee activities, give advise and accompany projects from students as from all those interested in oppening new busineses, qualifying barists and/or people to prepare coffee based drinks, designing and doing coffee menus, corporative brand development, packages, decoration and specialized store atmosphere, are part of the ecc portfolio services. the school also has a complete cupping laboratory and toster where we give a basic formation of cuppings, and laboratory people for enterprises dedicated on selling and exporting coffee in a local level.
We also render as a toasting and packaging maquila, to students and to clients in general.
Vision and objectives of the ecc
Create a diferencial image in the production, comercialization and consumption of hich quality coffees, promoting and encouraging its consumption in a national and international level.
Transmit the new coffee culture to professionals and to consumers, seaking for the general interest of persons or enterprises involved in the productive, distributing and consumption chaine.
Making the ecc a difussion platform of the knowlage related with the world of coffee, orginizing activities of interest for the members, with a learning point of view, technical, artistic, turist, ludic or cultural.
Offering conferences or seminars periodically for members.
Spread and give to know regional, farm, specials, exotics and “cup” coffees, which stand out because of their attributes and unique profiles.
Getting together and orginizing the enterprises trade of specialized stores and the people dedicated to the service of preparing drinks and serving public.
Take part in the events, congresses and faires with the same interests, with representatives qualified by the ecc. orginize prizes and contests for members and consumers.
As our first porpuse the school seeks to gide the country and city producers and the consumer towards the coffeeologie, as a whole culture, that looks for the recognition of the country people arduous work, and that his product is well payed, processed in a separate way and taste as a great raw. is with this noble material, in one side and a demanding public in the other, that we can undertake a very ambicious project that represents the birth in colombia of the coffeeologie for the world.
